Good to know! As a new Klarna user and while we still get to know you, you can make your first purchase with one of our partnered stores online. Once you have completely paid for an order with a value of approximately $70, you will unlock our One-time Card function within the app.

There is no predefined spending limit when using Klarna. Instead, a new automated approval decision about how much you can spend with us is made each time you pay with Klarna. Eligibility is based on factors such as your payment history with Klarna, outstanding balance, the total amount in your shopping cart, and our ability to identify you.

Set the amount you intend to spend.

Connect the one-time card to your personal debit or credit card and choose your payment plan.

When you are ready to pay, select the Visa credit card option and enter the one-time card details in the checkout, as you would with any other card.

Pay for your purchase according to the payment plan you selected.

Good to know: The card expires automatically after 24 hours if it's not used. Any hold placed on your card will be released within 24 hours. Depending on your bank it can take up to 7 business days for the release to be reflected on your account.

Your purchase power is an automated credit assessment based on factors such as your payment history with Klarna and credit bureau data.

The amount is an estimation not a guarantee, and may change based on the store and payment plan you choose.

The one-time card will expire automatically after 24 hours, or you can cancel the one-time card if it's no longer needed.

Yes, when you use our Pay in 4, or pay later credit products, we conduct a credit check to assess your eligibility for credit. This helps us ensure responsible lending and assist our customers to make good financial choices for their circumstances.

Good to know: If you make late payments or fail to pay, this could have a negative impact on your credit score and prevent you from using our payment methods in the future.
