We, like you, are closely monitoring the global situation so that we can take the necessary steps to ensure we are doing the right thing as a business and for society. We have many teams across the company that are working hard to ensure we protect the health of our employees as well as the productivity and continuity of our business.

Klarna has been around for 15 years and is a fully licensed bank. Despite the current circumstances our market position globally is strong and we have huge opportunities ahead, we are therefore continuing to hire the best global talent like you. For the time being, our hiring process has shifted to adapt to the global situation. While we love getting to know you in a face to face interview, your interviews will likely take place via video call. It’s also possible that your start date will be a little delayed or we might need to ask you to work from home when you first join. Our recruiters are here to support you with any questions that you may have around the situation.

Our fantastic employees have adapted remarkably well to the new way of working. Onboarding programs, Klarna team meetings and even coffees and lunches are now being held remotely to keep the spirits high. The fact that Klarna was born in the digital age and that our core systems are fully cloud based is, fortunately, making us very flexible in how we operate, in some ways we were built for this.

Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the virus and we hope for a speedy return to normality.
