The best task of the day is the most challenging one.

Senior Engineer - My team makes sure that you don't have to pay for the products you return or didn’t receive.
My path.
I discovered Klarna while I was working in the e-commerce industry in the UK. I used to build custom and public Shopfiy apps, one of which was a checkout integration with Klarna. I like to tackle new challenges, explore new cultures and I enjoy casual snowboarding - so I decided to move to Sweden. As the developer support from Klarna left me with a good impression previously, I decided to apply to the organization. I started in the Disputes team in the beginning of 2019.
Working at Klarna.
At Klarna, everyone is encouraged to be a leader. The Klarna leadership principles are meant to be practiced whether you are a Chief Officer or a team member. Because of Klarna’s operating model, each team has autonomy over their problem space. This allowed me to expand my skills beyond building software solutions to fields such as architecture, infrastructure and operations. Another unforeseen side track is that I became a speaker at our tech event KonferenSE, much thanks to the support from my mentor.
Something I’m unreasonably passionate about.
I'm really passionate about architecture. I really enjoy the macro scale overview that architecture provides. It allows you to design systems and have a good understanding of the relationships between different components, without having to dig down into implementation details.
