Louise Soltanieh Stenman.
At Klarna, I'm constantly challenged and my work never gets boring.
Senior Commercial Manager - I am responsible for Klarna’s relationship with H&M - a core merchant and partner.
My first role at Klarna was with the Project Management office when I joined in 2015. During my time in the team, I was involved in a number of exciting projects like launching Klarna Checkout Globally, getting Klarna a bank license, and launching the Klarna card. I took a year off for parental leave and returned to the team as the Accountable Lead in 2018, while also working on establishing the H&M partnership globally. In 2019, I changed competence to Commercial and took on the role of the Key Account Manager for the H&M Group.
Working at Klarna.
One of my friends had worked at Klarna for 10 years before I joined. I was always amazed by the fact that she never was bored and wasn't constantly looking for the next company to work for, while I had changed 3 jobs during the same period. I stayed for the same reason! I'm constantly challenged, and my work never gets boring. At Klarna, I learn by doing and by being surrounded by high performing professionals that are more than willing to share their knowledge and experience. I'm curious about all parts of our business and I try to learn as much as possible so I simply ask a lot of questions! You will be amazed at how good a colleague can explain the most complex logic or process if you only ask.
Something I’m unreasonably passionate about.
A day in my life.
|Morning stand-up with my team to discuss the day’s tasks.||Working with H&M on the topics we have prioritized for a two-week sprint.||A 30 minute HIIT exercise.|
|A quick analysis of our KPIs.||Sorting out a small crisis with my team or merchant.||Dinner and family time.|
|A quick call with H&M.||Picking up my kid at kindergarten.||Walkthrough my calendar for the upcoming day to make sure I'm prepared for meetings.|
3 takes on Klarna.
My favorite Leadership Principle is...
Courage because it helps me take tough decisions on a daily basis and trust my instincts. With the collective knowledge of my team behind me, we take difficult decisions and handle all the challenges that come our way.
The best task of the day is ..
the daily stand-up because I get to meet the team when they have the most energy and are ready to kick off the day! We share our challenges and help each other as much as we can before everyone carries on with their own tasks the rest of the day.
I’d describe my team as...
detailed thinkers, and awesome team players that always deliver results.
