Service Delivery Lead - As a part of the Detection team, we protect Klarna by detecting fraud. Essentially, we do our best to stop bad people.

My irregular path.

The promise of a fast-moving global disruptor giving the finger to outdated traditions was an easy appeal to me. I sent in an application to be an English speaking service agent in Klarna but after going through the initial interviews, I was offered to pursue a position in the Fraud Detection team instead. I would have never imagined myself to be working in the fraud space but I’m so glad I went for it! The Talent Acquisition team hit the mark on their assessment, as here I am, developing in the same team since and now progressed to become a Fraud Detection Lead.

Working at Klarna.

Working for a fintech that puts great emphasis on speed and growth can be challenging and demanding, but I feel very lucky to be surrounded by so many passionate and driven colleagues. Klarna has an innate international and accepting culture. Last time I counted, my team of 17 consisted of 15 nationalities.

Something I’m unreasonably passionate about.

Understanding people’s minds! How we think and why we think that way. It’s so interesting to me how everyone has different realities and perspectives and how all these experiences mold them. I spend a lot of time figuring people out. This could be why I enjoy working in fraud too since a big part of my job is to analyse behaviors.

My biggest challenge at Klarna is …

Communication. Since we are such a huge global company, it can be quite hard to keep up to date with what's going on.
