What if I can’t pay on time?

If the funds for the second payment are not available when the payment is due, we will automatically retry after 7 days. Payments not made are automatically added to the total amount of the following payment. So that you don’t get caught off guard, we’ll send you an email notification if your payment has failed.

Sometimes you will need extra time to pay. For purchases made in 3 payments, you may have the option to change the due date and pay later. Simply log in and select the statement you want to pay later. You will then see if the option is available for your purchase. If the option is not available, then it is not possible to modify the date of this statement.

Follow the steps below to make an early payment or change the due date:

In the Klarna app

  • Log in to the app
  • Click on My Klarna to find the option to display your Purchases or all of your Payments
  • Select the purchase you want to pay early or later and click on Payment options.
  • If the Extend Due Date payment option is available, simply follow the instructions to change the due date to pay later.

On Klarna.com/ie

  • Log into your account with the associated email address or phone number.
  • Click on Purchases to locate the corresponding statement.
  • If the Extend Due Date payment option is available, simply follow the instructions to change the due date to pay later.
