Use the Merchant Portal

Sign up for Merchant Portal Playground to get started:

1. Go to

   Klarna Docs
   and tap Log in 

2. Select Region and choose the Playground environment

3. Tap Sign Up and enter your email 

4. Activate your account by the email link and agree to the T&Cs.
   

Access the Merchant Portal Playground:

• Once registered, log in via

  Klarna Docs
  to the
  Merchant portal
  . A Test Merchant ID (MID) in the format PKXXXX will be automatically assigned to you.

Testing environment:

• The Merchant Portal Playground allows you to test Klarna's products before integrating to your live store.

• You can simulate transactions and test various scenarios to ensure the integration works as expected.

Troubleshooting:

• If you encounter issues, use Merchant Portal Staging with the Test MIDs assigned to PO for additional support.
  

Good to know: You don’t need to have a live account with Klarna to sign up for a playground environment. Playground environments are not available for every region.
