What is the order’s expiration date and how can I extend it?

  1. Log in to the Merchant Portal

  2. Tap Orders

  3. Navigate to

  4. View uncaptured orders to track

Good to know:

  • The order expiry date ensures orders are not left unhandled.

  • Customers receive a refund if they’ve used the Pay in full option.

  • Customers will not  be charged if they use the Pay later option.

  • You can extend the expiration date as long as the order hasn’t already expired. The order expiration date is shown on the order page.

To extend the order’s expiration date:

  1. Go to

    in the Merchant portal

  2. Select the order you want to extend by checking the box next to the Klarna order reference

  3. Click on Extend expiry date and confirm your request

Good to know: You can extend the order for 6 months. After this period, you’ll need to recreate a new order.

If your order expires before you capture it, you can recreate the same order:

  1. Go to the specific order page in the

    section

  2. Click on Copy and create a new order

  3. Check if details in the new order are correct

  4. Click on Place order / Proceed (you’ll see one of the options depending on whether your customer needs to agree to the new order first or not)

Note, remember to

your newly created order once you’ve shipped the items.
