GDPR stands for General Data Protection Regulation. It's a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the EU and EEA. It also regulates the export of personal data outside the EU and EEA. The aim of GDPR is to give individuals control of their personal data and to make things simpler for international businesses by centralising regulation within the EU.
