How and when will I receive my refund?
All refunds will be issued according to the store’s policy for returns and cancellations. Once the store has registered your return or cancellation with Klarna, your refund will be processed to your original form of payment. If your original form of payment is associated with a now-closed bank account or credit card, please contact your financial institution regarding the refund.
If you receive a partial refund for your order, the funds will be used by Klarna to reduce your outstanding balance first, which means that you will not receive any cash back in some instances but instead have your remaining instalments reduced.
In case the partial refund was more than the remaining balance, then the amount will be automatically refunded to the card used to make the payment.
In case of a remaining unpaid balance, the refund will be spread evenly over the remaining payments.
Example: If you have placed an order for $200.00 and already paid the first instalment after a refund of $75.00 is issued, this refund will be equally deducted from the remaining payments, which means that the second, third and fourth instalment will be $25.00 each.
Good to know: If the store’s return policy does not allow refunds to the original form of payment, for example, they only allow store credit, you are still responsible for your payments to Klarna associated with that purchase.
Are you still waiting for your refund?
Refund processing times vary and can take up to 14 days, depending on your financial institution. To check your refund status, please confirm first that the store has updated your statement accordingly here and check if you might have already been refunded to your original payment method.
If 14 days have passed since the issue of credit and you are still missing your refund, please contact us for further support.
