What happens if I return my purchase?

Returns are subject to the store’s return policy, so please check the store’s website for information on their return policy and instructions on making a return. If the store issues a refund, we’ll update your payments accordingly. You can check your payments and refunds’ status anytime by clicking here or going into your Klarna app.

Use the “Report a return” feature in your Klarna app, or click here, to pause your statement, so you don’t have to pay while your return is processed.

  • Go to My Klarna
  • Click Purchases
  • Select the purchase
  • Click More
  • Select “Report a return”
  • Click the Continue button

How will my refund be processed?

If the store issues a full refund, any payments already made will be refunded, and your remaining payments for that purchase will be cancelled.

If you receive a partial refund for your order, the credit will be applied to the remaining balance.

In case the partial refund was more than the remaining balance, then the amount will be automatically refunded to the card used to make the payment.

In case of a remaining unpaid balance, the refund will be spread evenly over the remaining payments.

 

Example: If you have placed an order for $200.00 and already paid the first instalment of $50.00, after which a refund of $75.00 is issued, this refund will be equally deducted from the remaining payments, which means that the second, third and fourth instalment will be $25.00 each.

 

Good to know: Refund processing times vary and can take up to 14 days, depending on your financial institution. To check your refund status, please confirm first that the store has issued a refund and check your original payment method to ensure the refund hasn’t been processed. If 14 days have passed since the store updated your order and you are still missing your refund, please contact us for further support.
