The app has now reached a total number of 12 million monthly active users, which is a new record during a single month. In July, PYMNTS, the premier source of news and insights from the payments industry, once again ranked Klarna as the number one credit app in the US. The monthly ranking is based on a number of scoring factors including: channel coverage, up-to-date downloads, monthly average users and sessions per user and average session length.
The app currently has more than 16 million downloads globally, with an average of more than 30,000 downloads per day in July, making it one of the biggest shopping apps out there.
