Cashback is earned as points when you shop with Klarna. You can earn cashback on eligible purchases made in the Klarna app, and with a membership, you can also earn cashback on all debit purchases with the Klarna Card or when you pay in full with your Klarna balance.
All your cashback adds up in one place. You can convert it to money in your Klarna balance, or choose to redeem it for airline and hotel points with a membership.
Everyone eligible for the Klarna balance can receive cashback from participating shops. Please note that whilst you can start earning cashback before activating your Klarna balance, your Klarna balance needs to be active to receive your earned cashback.
When you shop at participating stores in the Klarna app, you earn a percentage of your purchase back as cashback. Your cashback collects automatically and you decide when to redeem it.
Yes. You can earn cashback on eligible purchases made through the Klarna app, no matter how you choose to pay. If you have a Klarna membership, you can also earn cashback when using your Klarna Card—when you pay in full with your Klarna balance.
No. You can earn cashback whether you pay in full, in 3, up to 30 days, or with financing.
It depends on the store. For most, it takes between 35 to 95 days for your purchase to be confirmed and cashback to become available to redeem.
There’s no earning limit to how much cashback you can earn.
Cashback never expires with a membership.
Without a membership, cashback remains active as long as you earn or redeem at least once every 90 days. If your account is inactive for 90 days, your cashback may expire. If you already have a Klarna balance, we'll automatically move your cashback there before it expires.
You can redeem cashback as a credit to your Klarna balance. Klarna members also have the option to redeem cashback as airline points or gift cards.
Yes, you can shop Klarna deals when paying with Klarna and earn cashback at the same time, enjoying both savings and cashback benefits.
Yes, you can earn cashback and points with your loyalty cards. Cashback operates independently from existing loyalty programmes. Adding your regular loyalty card at checkout lets you earn both regular loyalty points and Klarna cashback.
