How do I log in & out of my Klarna profile?

Login in the Klarna app

  • Enter the email address or phone number associated with your Klarna purchases and we’ll email you a login link or text you a verification code.

Login on klarna.com

  • Visit klarna.com or click here
  • Choose ‘Login’ from the top right of the page, and select ‘Private login’
  • Enter the email address or phone number associated with your account
  • We’ll email you a login link or text you a one time password.

Good to know:

  • The link in your email will expire 24 hours after being sent.
  • A phone number can only be associated with one Klarna profile at a time.

Are you not receiving the login link?

We suggest you try the steps below:

  • Confirm that you’ve entered the correct contact details
  • Check your spam folder
  • Use the most up-to-date browser version
  • Clear your cookies

Are you not receiving the one time password?

We suggest you try the steps below:

  • Restart your phone or switch flight mode on and off
  • Try adding country and area code to your phone number.
  • Check that our messages are not blocked or marked as spam by your device.

Log out in the Klarna app

  • Select the “My Klarna” tab
  • Tap the gear icon at the top to go to your settings
  • Tap “Log out” or, if you have a quick login method enabled, tap “Lock app”

Note: If you have enabled a quick login method (PIN, Face ID or Touch ID) and want to log out completely, tap the “X” button at the top of the screen. You will be required to enter an email address or a phone number to log back in.

  • Click on the button that shows your nickname at the bottom left corner of your home screen.
  • Choose “Log out” at the bottom of the page.
