I'm a trusted third party, can I contact Klarna on a customer's behalf?

Yes, but we will require their authority to be able to discuss their account. You can provide one of the following:

  • A Letter of Authority (LOA) - a simple document that gives someone permission to act on your behalf in a specific situation. It’s not a legal document like a Power of Attorney, but it's often used for short-term or limited purposes.

  • A Power of Attorney (POA) - a legal document that lets someone give another person the authority to make decisions or take actions on their behalf.

We appreciate this may feel like an extra step, but we need to always protect our customers' privacy.

Once you have obtained the relevant authority, please let us know. If you’re unsure what’s needed, our team is happy to guide you through the process.
