60% of Gen Z and 53% of Millennials—admit to having travel FOMO, and plan to prioritize travel more now compared to pre-pandemic. And they’re willing to spend more to do so, with 40% of Gen Z and 36% of Millennials saying they’ll put more of their money into travel in the next year.

Travelers are swapping out quarantine road trips for flights. Over the next 6 months, 81% of shoppers plan to travel, with 78% planning to fly.

Where will they stay? 8 out of 10 travelers plan to book a hotel, with up to 50% being open to renting a home. 88% of travelers plan to travel somewhere warm, with Florida, Nevada, and California, Mexico, Jamaica, and the Dominican Republic leading the list.

Among young travelers, 61% of Gen Z and 55% of Millennials are planning to book a stay via a home-sharing platform such as VRBO and Airbnb.
