Earlier today, Camilla Giesecke, Klarna’s Chief Expansion Officer, shared the below message with US employees:
At Klarna the health, safety and well-being of our employees remains our number one priority. In light of the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, we recognize the impact this will have on millions of Americans, including many of our employees and their families, depending on where they are located in the US.
In response, we have expanded our health care benefits to cover transportation for all medical procedures not available within a 50 mile radius of an employee’s home, for employees and their dependents and spouses. Klarna will cover up to $4,000 for any employee (or employee’s dependent or spouse) that uses this benefit.
We are fully committed to supporting safe and equitable access to comprehensive health care.
