How does Auto-track work?

Auto-Track allows Klarna to gather information from your purchase and delivery emails to keep you updated on the status of your orders, delivery tracking, and store promotions.

Klarna does not have access to your login credentials. Auto-Track is an automated system that allows Klarna to request relevant emails from your email provider. These emails are selected based on the sender’s email address and specific keywords, and the information is then imported into the Klarna app.

To connect your email to auto-track:

  1. Go to your Profile

  2. Navigate to Connected services

  3. Tap Connect email to connect your own email address

By granting Klarna access to your emails, you authorize us to collect details regarding your purchases and orders, deliveries, and promotions.

Why do I need to regularly re-consent?

Some email providers, such as Google and Microsoft, will ask you to re-consent . If you don’t re-consent your email will be disconnected. Klarna will remind you when it is time to re-consent.

How can I disable Auto-Track?

  1. Navigate to your Profile

  2. Select Connected services

  3. Tap Trash next to your email and Disconnect email

You can delete all the imported data by tapping Delete all imported information.
