What data is Klarna collecting from my emails?

If you enable Email Connect, Klarna will collect the name of the store where you made your purchase and package tracking information for that purchase.
This can be a combination of:

  • Product name (incl. a link to the product)
  • Product images
  • Article number
  • Order date
  • Quantity
  • Order number
  • Tracking IDs, tracking URLs and carrier names
  • Price
  • Discount (if any)
  • Tax and tax rate
  • Other costs (e.g. shipping costs)
  • Total purchase amount
  • Currency

The information is used to provide package tracking and information on purchases made with payment providers other than Klarna to collect all your purchases in one place and improve your shopping experience in the Klarna App.
You can disable this service at any time.

Klarna’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

If you connect a Microsoft-powered email address, Klarna is able to provide the Email Connect to you by use of a Microsoft API. You must always have and maintain a valid license for your own use of your Microsoft service.
