Your data is handled securely
Any biometric data collected (selfie and ID scan) is used solely for identity verification. Tips for completing ID verification:
Use a real, physical ID. Screenshots and paper copies are not accepted.
Make sure your ID is not expired.
Take your selfie in a well-lit area with your face clearly centered in the frame.
Hold your ID flat with all four corners visible and no glare.
If the camera doesn't open or the flow crashes, check that the Klarna app has camera permission enabled:
Android: Settings > Apps > Klarna > Permissions > Camera
iPhone: Settings > Klarna > Camera
If your ID or selfie is rejected, try with a different supported document type if you have one available.
