BNPL Code of Practice.
Klarna is a signatory to the Australian Finance Industry Association (AFIA)’s Buy Now Pay Later Code of Practice and is a signatory to the Code. The Code sets out best practice standards for the sector and strengthens consumer protections, that go beyond what the law requires us to do. It does this while preserving customer choice to make purchases and payments in a way that suits their needs and preferences. A copy of the Code is available here.
Through our involvement in the Code, Klarna further underlines our existing commitment to
- Keep our customers’ interests at the centre of everything we do
- Always be fair, transparent and honest with you
- Make sure our products are suitable for you and continue to review this
