We'll work with you to find a way forward

We understand that life can be unpredictable. Whether it's an unexpected bill, a change in your employment, a health issue or any other personal difficulty — we're here to help.

  • Extended payment plans — spreading your remaining balance over a longer period

  • Adjusted payment schedules — changing your payment dates to better suit your circumstances

  • Temporary payment pauses — giving you breathing space when you need it most

  • Financial hardship support — our specialist team can provide tailored assistance

We'll never ask you to pay more than you can realistically afford, and we'll always treat you with understanding and respect.

Pay in 3

With Pay in 3, your purchase is split into 3 equal interest-free instalments. If you miss a payment:

  • We'll send you a reminder to let you know a payment is due or has been missed.

  • If you fail to make a payment by the end of the courtesy slack period you will be in default and we will charge you a late fee.

  • Continued missed payments may affect your ability to use Klarna in the future.

  • If the debt remains unpaid after multiple reminders, your case may be referred to a debt collection agency.

  • Unpaid debts may be reported to credit reference agencies, which could affect your credit rating.

We always want to work with you to resolve any payment difficulties, but it's important that you understand what may happen if arrears are not dealt with:

  1. Additional charges — Late fees may be applied to your account depending on the product you're using.

  2. Restricted access to Klarna — Your ability to make new purchases using Klarna may be suspended or permanently restricted.

  3. Debt collection — If we're unable to resolve the situation with you directly, your outstanding debt may be referred to a third-party debt collection agency, who will contact you to arrange repayment.

  4. Credit reporting — Unpaid debts may be reported to credit reference agencies. This could negatively affect your credit score and make it harder to access credit in the future.

The sooner you contact us, the more options we have to help you. We encourage you to reach out before your situation becomes more difficult to manage.

If we are unable to collect the payment on the scheduled date, we will try again. If the payment fails, the amount due for the missed payment will be added to the next scheduled payment. Missed payments can incur late fees and may be sent to debt collection.

If you're worried about making a repayment, or you're already behind on payments, please contact us as soon as possible. Our team is trained to help and will treat your situation with care and confidentiality.
