Yes, it's a bank. But you hardly ever notice that.

Business Operations Specialist - I help people find their ideal position at Klarna by matching their unique skill sets. By doing so, I help Klarna to overcome any new challenge we face.
My path.
I’ve had the chance to see different parts of Klarna. First, I got offered the position as "junior debt collection agent" working towards customers in difficult financial situations, which taught me a lot about compromising and finding solutions. After a couple of years I accepted the role as a team lead for a team handling communication with external partners and debt counsellors. In this role I interviewed and hired quite a few new Klarnauts. Building on this experience, I joined the newly formed Talent Search team, where I am today.
Working at Klarna.
I found a lot of friends working here, I always felt invited to speak my mind and I love what we dare to do. We work in small, often agile, teams that own their problem from A-Z. For these teams to be effective they are made of people with different competences, e.g. engineering, design, analytics or service delivery. When it comes to leadership, there’s a broad spectrum of leaders. Most leads I had were coaches and mentors, not bosses. Those who stay are those who help their team grow.
Something I’m unreasonably passionate about.
When I'm not working I am climbing. Bouldering in particular. It's a different way of problem solving and a great way to get exercise and hang out with friends at the same time.
3 takes on Klarna.
The biggest misconception about Klarna is …
That we make our money from fees and profit from unhappy customers.
One thing I wish I knew when joining Klarna ...
To never feel ashamed for not knowing something.
In ten years, Klarna will be …
Still disrupting the banking industry but in many more markets.
