At Klarna, I solve real customer problems.
Product Manager - I lead a team dedicated to improving our customer’s in-app payment experience and elevating transparency on when, what, and how to pay.
My irregular path.
I joined Klarna in 2018 as a product manager working on the Klarna app in the Pay later Slice it domain. At that time, our team’s scope was to visualize the Klarna account and the monthly product in the app. Since then we’ve gone on a journey together improving features, handing over other features, and changing our scope. But through all the changes we’ve continued with the solid focus on creating in-app payment solutions for our customers. 2 years in and I’m as passionate as I was when I started. Klarna is constantly changing and it means I’m constantly learning.
Working at Klarna.
I never thought I could feel happy going to work. I am so happy I was wrong! I hadn’t found a workplace where I felt happy before and thought that it would be like that for the rest of my career. That all changed when I started at Klarna. I have the best team - we work really well together and have fun while we deliver cool features to our customers. The operating model gives you and your team a lot of responsibility and autonomy which gives you ownership and that you actually can contribute with your knowledge. I really love thinking about how to solve real customer problems and I get to do that every day in my role.
Something I’m unreasonably passionate about.
A day in my life.
|Walk or bike to work if the weather allows.||Conduct our team review with the domain support team.||Meet up with some friends.|
|Have morning stand-up with the team.||Attend the product competence All Hands.||Go to the gym.|
|Meeting regarding a bigger project or initiative.||Find some focused time to do some product discovery work.||And I only sometimes work in the evening...|
3 takes on Klarna.
My favorite Leadership Principle is...
Let the team shine because it is only together we can deliver amazing products and solutions to our customers.
The best task of the day is ..
stand-up with the team because we get a good understanding of what we are doing and where we are heading.
I’d describe my team as...
the best team I have ever worked in because together we can accomplish anything. Our other colleague called us a swiss army knife since we are working with so many different things at once.
