We’ve shortlisted two fantastic causes for support and would like to know where you’d like us to pledge our support.
Forests and Landscapes.
‘ initiative fosters environmental sustainability through advocacy, tree planting, and community engagement, resulting in the planting, protection, or restoration of over 3.4 million trees* and the preservation of thousands of hectares of vital landscapes.
The ‘Environmental Defenders.
‘ initiative protects indigenous groups and grassroots movements, offering legal aid, raising awareness about the link between human and environmental rights, and has thus far empowered over 50,000 individuals to become catalysts for change.

.We have allocated $1m from our 1% pledge to this initiative. These two causes will each receive a percentage of the $1m, but just how much each initiative gets is determined by the numbers of votes they receive. The polls are open from November 28 to December 31, 2023.

, we support change-makers on the frontlines of environmental challenges and showcase their work being done on the ground. We strongly believe that the growth of our business needs to support the growth of solutions that can contribute to solve the planet’s crisis.
Some of the things we achieved so far.
Give One supports 56 environmental initiatives which include over 70 organizations throughout North America, South America, Africa, Europe, and Asia. While Klarna are key contributors to the initiatives, the outcomes are often the result of combined support from multiple donors.
Some highlight includes:
100,000 people – including government officials, schools, and community members – have engaged in activities through Give One to restore and protect our planet
In 2022 alone, 43,000 people benefitted in livelihood improvement activities relating to forest conservation in Kenya and Ghana
900,000 hectares (2.2 million acres) of habitat across the globe have seen positive impact thanks to Give One-supported organizations
3.4 million trees have been planted to restore and reforest important ecosystems by organizations supported by Give One.
