What happens if my purchase is for a different amount than the One-time card I created?

In case of a higher purchase amount
You must cancel the One-time card and create a new one for the correct amount.

Good to know: Depending on which payment option you choose when creating the card, there might be a hold placed on your card for each One-time card you create. This ensures that enough funds are available on your credit or debit card. Once you cancel the One-time card, we remove any holds placed on your card immediately. Depending on your financial institution, this might take between 1 to 7 days to show.

In case of a lower purchase amount
No worries – you’ll only be billed for what you end up using. When you are sure your whole order has been processed, log in to the app and select Refund unused amount. If you don’t use the option in the app, Klarna will automatically adjust the plan after 14 days.

Good to know: If you have already paid more than what you used, we will issue you a refund.
