When can I start integrating Klarna?

As soon as your application is approved, you’ll be able to log into the Klarna Merchant Portal and start your integration. If you are on one of our partnered platforms, you may have access to the Integration Guides section of the Merchant Portal. There you’ll find step-by-step instructions and can follow the on-screen prompts. generate Klarna API credentials and start the integration. 

If you are not on a partnered platform, or don’t see your platform listed, you’ll be able to generate your own Klarna API credentials and follow the integration instructions provided to you. 

API calls are how your system and Klarna’s system communicate. Klarna API credentials are used to authenticate the API calls your system sends to us. In this way, you protect your business, and we keep our services secure.
