What is On-site messaging (OSM) and how do I activate it?

On-site messaging (OSM) is a tool used to let customers know that Klarna is available on your website. Here are some examples of what they might look like:

           

The service is available for all retailers using Klarna Payments or Klarna Checkout. And it’s free! Letting your shoppers know about the different payment options available to them before they reach the checkout can influence the purchase decision.

All retailers using Klarna Payments or Klarna Checkout are able to use our manual HTML integration. Everything you’ll need can be found in the On-site Messaging section of the Klarna Merchant Portal. Instructions on how to integrate using HTML can be found here on our Docs website
