Why do I need two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled?

With Klarna, safety comes first! Security is essential for us, so two-factor authentication (2FA) serves as an additional step of protection if your password and account have been compromised for any reason.

You’ll need to use your smartphone each time you log into the Merchant portal. As long as you have two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled, you would need to provide your password and a one-time-use six-digit code from your authenticator app each time you log into your account.
