What should I do if I can’t install, activate, or use my eSIM?

Troubleshoot by taking the following actions:

  • Restart your device.
  • Test your device by making a call, sending a text, or checking your data connection.
  • Check if your eSIM is activated and properly installed.
  • Be sure your device isn’t physically damaged and your phone is updated.
  • Allow up to 24 hours for activation.
  • Toggle Airplane Mode on/off.
  • Toggle Roaming on/off.

Still not connecting to the network?

Check you’re in an AT&T coverage area. If the issue continues, contact us.

You are eligible for a refund if a technical issue prevents eSIM installation. It can take up to 14 days for refunds to process and the balance of your connected payment method to update.
