You can deposit and withdraw money at any time without fees, while still earning interest at a competitive rate. There is no minimum balance requirement, and you can make unlimited withdrawals, giving you full access to your savings whenever you need.

No, there are no monthly or annual account fees for this account.

The interest on your savings account will be compounded and credited on a monthly basis and posted to your account on the 1st day of every month.  If you close your account before interest is credited, you will not receive the accrued interest.

The daily balance method is used to calculate interest on your account. This method applies a daily periodic rate to the principal in the account each day. A daily rate of 1/365 or 366 of the interest rate is used, depending on the number of days in the calendar year.

Interest will begin to accrue no later than the next Business Day following the Business Day on which your funds were received in your account.

You can open multiple savings accounts over time, but you may only have up to three open at the same time.

You can add money to your savings account by transferring funds directly from your Klarna balance account in the Klarna app or by making an ACH transfer from your external account to your savings account. We also accept Direct Deposit transfers.

You can earn a higher annual percentage yield (APY) by joining Klarna’s membership program. Once you become a member, your boosted rate will be applied automatically to your savings account(s). You can view the current APY for each membership tier in the app.

The higher APY applies to a combined balance of up to $50,000 across all your savings accounts. Balances above this amount will earn the standard base interest rate.
