Bosch Extractor Fans

Extractor fans are devices designed to remove moisture, odors, and smoke from the air in your home. They improve ventilation by pulling air out of a room, which is essential for maintaining indoor air quality. Commonly used in kitchens and bathrooms, these fans help prevent mold and mildew.

Extractor fans are selected based on the room's size and airflow requirements, measured in cubic feet per minute (CFM). To find the right size, measure your room's volume and choose a fan with a CFM rating that matches or exceeds it. Consider factors like humidity levels when deciding.

Extractor fans require regular maintenance to function effectively. Clean the fan blades and replace filters periodically to ensure optimal performance. Check the manufacturer's guidelines for specific maintenance instructions, as proper care can extend the lifespan of your fan.

Extractor fans are typically installed in rooms with high humidity or odors, such as kitchens and bathrooms. However, they can be used in other areas needing improved airflow. Ensure proper ducting and venting to the outside to maximize effectiveness and comply with building codes.
