Why did my transfer fail?

You'll see a pop-up message in the app outlining the reason for the failed transfer attempt.
Common transfer fail reasons include:
  • The recipient's details are not linked to a Klarna balance account
  • The recipient's Klarna balance is inactive, frozen, or in a different currency or market
  • You tried to send money to yourself
  • You or the recipient have blocked each other
  • A technical error occurred
  • You reached your transaction daily limit
  • You tried to send more than your available Klarna balance
